Humanism in the Short stories of Masood Mufti

Abstract

Humanism is derived from the Latin word 'Humanus' which means a
system of thought concerned with human affairs. Humanism is a
system of thought in which logical reasoning is more important than
religious beliefs. It emphasizes the fact that the basic nature of
humans is good. In Urdu " Insan dosti", "Insaniat", "Insan parasti"
terms are used for Humanism. Masood Mufti is well known Urdu
short story writer. His five short story books have been published. In
this article Humanistic study of Masood Mufti short stories has been
presented.
