Impacts of Iqbal on Mushtaq Ahmad Yousufi's Prose

Abstract

Mushtaq Ahmad Yousufi stands out in the tradition of Urdu
humorous and satiric prose as a trend setter humour writer. His
writings give an impression that he was very much influenced by the
ideas of Iqbal as he has interspersed his writings with Iqbal's verses.
In the following article, the writer has endeavoured to analyze
influence of Iqbal on Mushtaq Ahmad Yousufi's prose with a
research oriented and critical view.
