Post Colonial Perspective of Alienation and Rashid's Poem
Abstract
Colonizers alienate the colonized through their behavior, concepts 
and doings. The natives start disowning their own land in that the 
estrangement they receive from the foreign masters. Alienation is a 
prominent concern of both the layman and the creative artist's works 
of the native writers and poets exhibit alienation a prominent term 
during and after the colonial period. The term enjoys a variety of 
interpretations which this research paper will discuss briefly. The 
poems of Noon Meem Rashid exhibit alienation in full glow. This 
paper analyses Noon Meem Rashid's poetry with the fame of 
alienation. The paper explores how the poet feels estrangement from 
everything he owned as a native. Rejection, unrest, hopelessness and 
loneliness are some of the thematic variants the research paper is
