Ritual is an important part of our culture. Ritual belongs to the human psyche; it is the name of a continuous habit. Which is not limited to one person but also appears in the lives of all human beings living in such an environment and when one thing seems to be common to all people, it is called ritual. In the life of mankind rituals are prevalent from birth to death. But many forms of those rituals can be seen on the occasion of marriage. The colorful rituals can also be seen in the tribes of Blochistan (Baloch, Brahvi, and Pashtun). One of the common denominations of these three is the “Lab or Walwar”. The Baloch and Brahvi tribes call this ritual Lab while among the Pashtuns this ritual is known as Walwar. In this ritual, after a girl’s relationship, a large sum of money is demanded from the boys. The writers made of their stories. That is why in Balochistan prose (short, stories, fictions, novels) many stories have been created on Walwar. The importance of this ritual in Literature is appreciated.
