Globalization from a feminist perspective

Abstract

Feminism is a philosophy /ideology in which the pivotal significance
is given to identity /persona of a female. Patriarchal social setup is
challenged. This philosophy is universally acknowledged in the
literary fields of France, Britain, USA and Canada etc. In the 19th
century, feminism has taken its proper shape in western literature. In
Urdu literature, many renowned feminist writers especially Sara
Shagufta, Kishwar Naheed and Fehmeeda Riaz etc have written about
female feelings, passions, imaginations, sincerity, sacrifice and
selfless love in their works. Unfortunately male chauvinism prevails
in some countries which are backward and poor. That's why feminists
reject and resist against male dominance. In short this research article
discusses the universality from feminist perspective.”
