Abstract

Qurat ul Ain Haider was a great novelist and short stories
writer. Roshni ki Raftar is the collection of short stories of Qurat ul
Ain Haider in which she has demonstrated the true pictures of society
through characters and tried to elaborate the social issues. Her short
stories represent the realistic trends. She has discussed problems
faced by women in the society in her stories. Her contributions will
always be remembered in Urdu literature.
