Sir Syed Ahmad Khan's Educational and Political Insight and Consciousness of His Times

Abstract

Sir Syed Ahmad Khan is a renowned researcher, editor, translator,
philosopher and founder of Aligarh College. He was the master in
oriental and western science. He observed western culture very
closely and after, he made up his mind that if Muslims want to
compete with Global powers of their age, they have to embrace the
concepts of western materialistic science. He earned a lot of respect
in different aspects of creative work like research, criticism, history,
biography translation editing and prose. This article consists of an
account of his work as well as analysis of his services for Indian
Muslims and Urdu literature.
